The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.2296, a bill to authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2026 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, and for other purposes (NDAA).
During Tuesday’s session, Majority Leader Thune filed cloture on Executive Calendar #1, S.Res.377, authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of certain nominations on the Executive Calendar. This cloture motion ripens during Thursday’s session.
