At 10:45 a.m. The Senate will hold two roll call votes
- Confirmation of Patrice H. Kunesh to be Commissioner of the Administration for Native Americans, Dept. of Health and Human Services.
- Motion to invoke cloture on Daniel I. Werfel to be Commissioner of Internal Revenue for the term expiring November 12, 2027.
Following the cloture vote on the Werfel nomination, the Senate will resume Legislative Session and Senator Hagerty or his designee will be recognized to make a motion to discharge the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs from further consideration of H.J.Res.26. If the motion is made, all time on the motion will be considered yielded back and the Senate will vote on the motion to discharge. If the motion is agreed to, Senator Hagerty or his designee will be recognized to make a motion to proceed. Both the motion to discharge and the motion to proceed are expected to be voice votes
The Senate is expected to have two roll votes at approximately 5:15 p.m.
- Passage of H.J.Res.26, disapproving the action of the DC Council in approving the Revised Criminal Code Act of 2022
