7:28 p.m. By a vote of 36-60, the Senate did not adopt the Graham amendment #14 in relation to S.316, Repealing AUMF Against Iraq (re: Narrow authority of 2002 AUMF)
6:40 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on Graham amendment #14 in relation to S.316, Repealing AUMF Against Iraq (re: Narrow authority of 2002 AUMF).
6:38 p.m. By a vote of 9-86, the Senate did not agree to the Paul amendment repealing the 2001 AUMF to S.316, Repealing AUMF Against Iraq. At approximately 12:00 p.m., the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Gallagher nomination.
Following the vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons.
At approximately 2:15 p.m., the Senate will resume consideration of S.316, a bill to repeal the authorizations for use of military force against Iraq.
