1)Confirmation of Matthew James Maddox to be United States District Judge for the District of Maryland.
2)Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Jacob J. Lew to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the State of Israel.
Following the Lew vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., if cloture is invoked, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Lew nomination.
