At that time, resume consideration of Steven Engle to be an Assistant Attorney General, with a cloture vote on the nomination at 5:30 p.m.
At 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 7th, the Senate will vote on confirmation of John Gibson to be Deputy Chief Management Officer of the Department of Defense.
In addition to the Engle nomination, Majority Leader McConnell filed cloture on the following nominations:
• Peter Robb to be General Counsel of the NLRB
• William Wehrum to be an assistant Administrator of the EPA
• Derek Kan to be Under Secretary of Transportation for Policy
Similar to last week, a cloture vote on the next nomination in the queue would follow each confirmation vote.
