Senator Wyden reserved the right to object and spoke about the legislation. There was no objection to Leader Thune’s request and S. 4465 was passed by voice vote.
3:00 p.m. By a vote of 47-50, the Senate did not agree on the motion to discharge S.J. Res. 184, A joint resolution to direct the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against the Islamic Republic of Iran that have not been authorized by Congress, from the Foreign Relations Committee.
- Democrat Senator Fetterman voted against.
- Republican Senators Collins and Paul voted in favor.
- Senators Moran, Murray, and Tuberville did not vote.

At 11:30 a.m. the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on S.Res. 690, an executive resolution authorizing the en bloc consideration in Executive Session of certain nominations on the Executive Calendar. If cloture is invoked on the resolution all post-cloture time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on adoption of the resolution at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader no earlier than Friday, May 1st.
