The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. and following any Leader remarks will resume consideration of the nomination of Senator Mullin to be Secretary of Homeland Security, post cloture.
We expect the confirmation vote on the Mullin nomination to occur on Monday. If all time is used, the thirty (30) hours of post cloture debate would expire at approximately 7:43 p.m. Monday evening.
Cloture has also been filed on the nomination of Colin McDonald to be an Assistant Attorney General, that cloture motion will ripen on Monday.
