5:35 p.m. By a party line vote of 53-44, the Senate invoked cloture on the nomination of Kenneth Kies to be an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury. Senators not voting: Coons, Cortez Masto and Shaheen.
4:54 p.m. The Senate is now voting on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Kenneth Kies to be an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury.
4:53 p.m. By a vote of 56-40, the Senate confirmed the Dabbar nomination to be Deputy Secretary of Commerce.

The Senate will convene at 3:30 p.m. and following any leader remarks will resume consideration of the nomination of Paul Dabbar to be Deputy Secretary of Commerce.
At 4:15 p.m. the Senate will proceed to a series of two votes:
- Confirmation of the Dabbar nomination.
- Cloture on the nomination of Kenneth Kies to be an Assistant Secretary of the Treasury. If cloture is invoked, a confirmation vote would occur on Thursday.
