2:09 p.m. the Senate adjourned until 12:00 pm. on Monday. Following any Leader remarks, The Senate will proceed to Executive Session to resume consideration of  the Mnuchin nomination, post-cloture, as under the previous order.

At approximately 7:00 pm on Monday, February 13th, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Mnuchin nomination.

Following disposition of the Mnuchin nomination, there will be 10 minutes of debate, equally divided, followed by a roll call vote on confirmation of David J. Shulkin, to be Secretary of Veterans Affairs.

Please note, at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 14th, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of Linda McMahon, to be Administrator of the Small Business Administration.

Adopted S.Res.44, designating February 6 through 10, 2017, as “National School Counseling Week”.

Adopted S.Res.45, designating February 2017 as “American Heart Month” and February 3, 2017, as “National Wear Red Day”.

Adopted S.Res.47, supporting the contributions of Catholic schools and goals of National Catholic Schools Week.

Adopted S.Res.58, congratulating the New England Patriots on their victory in Super Bowl LI.

Agreed to H.Con.Res.18, permitting the use of the Rotunda of the Capitol for a ceremony as part of the commemoration of the days of remembrance of victims of the Holocaust.

The Senate will convene later on Friday at 9:30 a.m. at which time resume post-cloture consideration of the nomination of Steve Mnuchin to be Secretary of the Treasury.
There are no further votes on Friday.

When the Senate convenes on Monday, there will be 7 hours of debate remaining on the Mnuchin nomination, thus at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Senate will conduct a roll cal vote on confirmation of the Mnuchin nomination. Following the Mnuchin vote, proceed to the consideration of the nomination of David Shulkin to be Secretary of Veterans Affairs for ten minutes followed by a vote on the nomination.

On Tuesday, February 14, the Senate will proceed to the consideration of the nomination of Linda McMahon to be Administrator of the Small Business Administration; and that at 11:00 a.m. vote on the nomination.

2:30 a.m. Senator Portman acheived UC that the Senate adjourn until 9:30 a.m. on Friday February 10, 2017.

2:29 a.m. Cloture was invoked on the Mnuchin nomination 52-47, with Senator Manchin joining all Republicans in favor, and Senator McCaskill not voting.

2:15 a.m. Roll call vote began on cloture on the Mnuchin nomination.

2:14 a.m. ML McConnell locked in the following unanimous consent agreements: On Monday, there will be 7 hours of debate remaining on the Mnuchin nomination and that following disposition of the Mnuchin nomination, the Senate proceed to the consideration of the following nomination: David Shulkin, to be Secretary of Veterans Affairs for ten minutes followed by a vote on the nomination. Further, that on Tuesday, February 14, the Senate proceed to the consideration of the nomination of Linda McMahon to be Administrator of the Small Business Administration; and that at 11:00 a.m. vote on the nomination.

2:13 a.m. The nomination of Mr Price was confirmed 52-47. Senator McCaskill did not vote, all Republicans voted in favor, and all Democrats/Independents voted against.

1:46 a.m. Roll call vote began on the Price nomination. The nomination was confirmed by a vote of 52-47.

1:22 a.m. Senator Wyden returns to speak further about health care and the Price nomination.

12:41 a.m. Senator Hassan spoke against the Price nomination.
