The Senate passed the following resolutions en bloc by unanimous consent

6:42 p.m. By a vote of 50-48, the Senate passed H.J. Res. 98, the Cassidy Joint Employer CRA.

5:25 p.m. The Senate is now voting on passage of H.J. Res. 98

5:19 p.m. Senators Cassidy and Marshall spoke on HJ Res 98.

5:05 p.m. Senators Braun and Manchin spoke on HJ Res 98.

11:20 a.m. Senator Budd spoke about Israel and Hamas. He asked unanimous consent to proceed to and pass S. 4093. Senator Murphy objected.

10:50 a.m. Senator McConnell spoke about NATO and also about regulations and small business.

10:25 a.m. Senator Schumer spoke about abortion, the Mayorkas impeachment, the Capital One merger, and Russia.

10:00 a.m. The Senate convened.

The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. and following any leader remarks, will resume consideration of the nomination of Ann Marie McIff Allen to be a District Judge for the District of Utah.

At 12:00 p.m. the Senate will proceed to a vote on confirmation of the Allen nomination.

Following the vote the Senate will begin consideration of S.J. Res 61, regarding providing for congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the Federal Highway Administration relating to “National Performance Management Measures; Assessing Performance of the National Highway System, Greenhouse Gas Emissions Measure.” 

At 2:45 p.m. the Senate will vote on passage of S.J. Res 61.

Following the vote the Senate will begin consideration of H.J. Res 98 providing for congressional disapproval of the rule submitted by the National Labor Relations Board relating to “Standard for Determining Joint Employer Status.” 

At 5:00 p.m. the Senate will vote on passage of H.J. Res 98.
