The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of the nomination of Christopher Charles Fonzone to be General Counsel of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, post-cloture.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:

  • Confirmation of the nomination of Christopher Charles Fonzone to be General Counsel of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
  • Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Kiran Arjandas Ahuja to be Director of the Office of Personnel Management.

Following the Ahuja vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15 pm to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., if cloture is invoked on the Ahuja nomination, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Ahuja nomination.

Following disposition of the Ahuja nomination, the Senate will proceed to Legislative Session and resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S.2093, a bill to expand Americans’ access to the ballot box, reduce the influence of big money in politics, strengthen ethics rules for public servants, and implement other anti-corruption measures for the purpose of fortifying our democracy, and for other purposes (For the People Act), with the debate time until 5:30 pm equally divided between the two Leaders or their designees.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S.2093, For the People Act.
