At 11:45 a.m. 2 votes:

  1. Confirmation of the Fonzone nomination.
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Kiran Ahuja to be Director of the Office of Personnel Management.

The Senate will recess following the cloture vote on the Ahuja nomination until 2:15 p.m.

  1. Confirmation of the Ahuja nomination.

After disposition of the Ahuja nomination, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S.2093, For the People Act.

3:00 p.m. Leader Schumer asked for the second reading of S. 2118, to amend IRS cose from 1986 to provide for tax incentives for clean energy. He objected to a third reading and the bill was placed on the calendar.

He added the Senate would vote tomorrow to start voting rights debate.

The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m.  At that time, resume consideration of the nomination of Christopher Fonzone to be General Counsel of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

At 5:30 p.m. the Senate will vote on cloture on the Fonzone nomination.
