4:37 p.m. The Senate adjourned until 1:45pm on Monday, May 23, 2022, for a pro forma session only with no business conducted.

When the Senate adjourns on Monday, it will next convene at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #896 Dara Lindenbaum, of Virginia, to be a Member of the Federal Election Commission.

The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

At approximately 2:30pm, the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #855, Stephanie Dawkins Davis, of Michigan, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit. Following disposition of the nomination, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #896 Dara Lindenbaum, of Virginia, to be a Member of the Federal Election Commission.

Senators Schumer, Stabenow and Boozman spoke supporting the legislation.

11:39 a.m. Senator Hirono spoke about a bill to establish an Asian Pacific American History Museum.

11:26 a.m. Majority Leader Schumer spoke on Ukraine, COVID relief for restaurants and small businesses, the shooting in Buffalo NY, and Asian American history.
