3:02 p.m. The Senate adjourned today at 3:02 p.m. until Friday June 16th 2023 at 10:00 a.m. for a Pro Forma session with no business being conducted.

Following the Pro Forma session the Senate will stand adjourned until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday June 20th 2023. Following leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the Rikelman nomination post cloture.

At 5:30 p.m. the Senate will vote on the confirmation of Julie Rikelman to be United States Circuit Judge for the First Circuit.

2:30 p.m. By a vote of 53-45, the Senate invoked cloture on the nomination of Julie Rikelman to be US Circuit Judge for the First Circuit. Senators Collins and Murkowski voted in favor. Senators Blackburn and Scott (SC) did not vote.

1:45 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Julie Rikelman to be United States Circuit Judge for the First Circuit.

1:40 p.m. Senator Markey spoke in support of the Rikelman nomination.

1:32 p.m. Senator Duckworth spoke on FAA reauthorization.

12:15 p.m. The Senate confirmed the Choudhary nomination, 50-49. Senator Manchin voted against, and Senator Scott of South Carolina didn’t vote.

11:12 a.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on confirmation of the nomination of Nusrat J. Choudhury to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.

At approximately 11:15 a.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Choudhury nomination.

At approximately 1:45 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Julie Rikelman to be United States Circuit Judge for the First Circuit.
