7:23 p.m. The Senate adjourned.

6:30 p.m. The Senate is now voting on the confirmation of Executive Calendar #338, Myrna Perez to be United States Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit. The nomination was confirmed by a roll call vote of 48-43.

5:30 p.m.  The Senate is currently voting on the confirmation of Executive Calendar #187, Douglas Parker to be an Assistant Secretary of Labor. The nomination was confirmed by a vote of 50-41. Senators Collins and Portman joined Democrats voting yes.

4:40 p.m. Senator Blackburn spoke on the harm of online social media websites.

4:30 p.m. Senator Cornyn spoke on inflation and the effects on lower income families.

4:15 p.m. Senator Tuberville spoke on the need to spend on national security.

3:50 p.m. Senator Portman spoke on the need for an infrastructure bill.

3:33 p.m. Senator Durbin spoke on Build Back Better.

3:23 p.m. RL McConnell spoke on the economy, inflation, and IRS regulations.

3:13 p.m. ML Schumer spoke on nominations and on Build Back Better.

3:00 p.m. The Senate convened.

At 5:30 p.m., the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes:

1.      Confirmation of Executive Calendar #187, Douglas Parker to be an Assistant Secretary of Labor

2.      Confirmation of Executive Calendar #338, Myrna Perez to be United States Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit.
