The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #168, Jonathan Davidson, of Maryland, to be Deputy Under Secretary of Treasury. At approximately 11:00am, the Senate will vote on the motions to invoke cloture on the Davidson, Harris, and Coleman nominations. Following the cloture vote on the Coleman nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings. At approximately 2:20pm, the Senate will vote on the motions to invoke cloture on the Prieto and Nayak nominations. 7:20 p.m. Leader Schumer called up S.4, the John Lewis voting acts rights bill and then filed cloture on the motion.

7:19 p.m. By a vote of 53-43, the Senate confirmed the Heytens nomination.

6:24 p.m. Roll call vote began on confirmation of Executive Calendar #363, Toby Heytens to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit.

6:23 p.m. By a vote of 51-45, the Senate confirmed the Robinson nomination.

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #471, Beth Robinson to be United States Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit.
  2. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #363, Toby Heytens to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit.

Cloture has been filed on the following nominations:
