The Senate convened at 9:00 a.m. for a pro forma session only. Senator Barrasso presided and no business was conducted.

The Senate will next convene for business at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22nd. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Angela Veronica Colmenero to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas.

At 5:30 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Colmenero nomination.

Further roll call votes are possible during Tuesday’s session.
