The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of H.J.Res.61, disapproving the rule submitted by the EPA relating to “National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Rubber Tire Manufacturing”. 

At approximately 11:30 a.m., the Senate will vote on passage of H.J.Res.61. Following disposition of the joint resolution, we expect a roll call vote on a motion to proceed to S.J.Res.13, disapproving the rule submitted by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency of the Department of the Treasury relating to the review of applications under the Bank Merger Act.

If the motion to proceed to S.J.Res.13 is made and agreed to, the vote on passage of the joint resolution will occur at a time to be determined on Wednesday, May 7th by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader.

Following the expected motion to proceed vote, the Senate will recess until 2:00 p.m. for the weekly conference meetings.

At approximately 2:00 p.m., the Senate will vote on confirmation of Executive Calendar #60, Frank Bisignano, of New Jersey, to be Commissioner of Social Security Administration. Following disposition of the nomination, we expect a roll call vote on a motion to proceed to Cal. #24, S.J.Res.7, disapproving the rule submitted by the Federal Communications Commission relating to “Addressing the Homework Gap Through the E-Rate Program”.

If the motion to proceed to S.J.Res.7 is made and agreed to, the vote on passage of the joint resolution will occur at a time to be determined on Thursday, May 8th by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader.

At approximately 5:15 p,m,, we expect a roll call vote on a motion to proceed to Cal. #65, H.J.Res.60, disapproving the rule submitted by the National Park Service relating to “Glen Canyon National Recreation Area: Motor Vehicles”.

If the motion to proceed to Cal. #65, H.J.Res.60 is made and agreed to, the vote on passage of the joint resolution will occur at a time to be determined on Thursday, May 8th by the Majority Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader.
