7:23 p.m.  The Senate has adjourned until 10 a.m. Thursday, November 15th. At 11:00 a.m. Senator Paul will be recognized to offer a motion to discharge  S.J. Res. 65, the Bahrain Arms Sales Resolution of Disapproval, followed by a 12:15 p.m. vote on the motion to discharge. The Senate will then resume consideration of the nomination of Michelle Bowman to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System with a vote on confirmation at 1:45 p.m.

6:52 p.m. Senator Sullivan spoke about bipartisan accomplishments and the Coast Guard Reauthorization bill.

6:05 p.m. Senator Alexander spoke about the Tennessee Valley Authority and asked unanimous consent to confirm the nomination of John L. Ryder to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the TVA. Senator Schumer objected and then spoke about bipartisanship. Alexander also spoke about the Foothills Parkway, clean air, and the opioid legislation.

2:19 p.m. Senator Nelson joined Senator Wicker on the Coast Guard bill.

2:13 p.m. Senator Wicker resumed his discussion of the Coast Guard bill.

2:07 p.m. Majority Leader McConnell spoke about the coast guard bill, the Bowman nomination, and the leadership elections.

• The Senate will convene at 2:00 p.m. and resume consideration of the motion to concur in the House amendment to <ahref=”https://www.congress.gov/congressional-record/2018/10/11/senate-section/article/S6826-3″>S. 140; the legislative vehicle for the Coast Guard Reauthorization, with an amendment in the nature of a substitute (#4054, as modified), post-cloture.

•Following Leader remarks,  at approximately 2:15 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to concur in the House amendment to S. 140, with an amendment #4054 (passage of the Coast Guard reauthorization).

• Following disposition of S. 140, the Senate will immediately proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Michelle Bowman to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System.
