The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of the nomination of Margaret R. Guzman to be United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts, post-cloture.

At approximately 11:30 a.m., the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:

  • Confirmation of the nomination of Margaret R. Guzman to be United States District Judge for the District of Massachusetts.
  • Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Colleen R. Lawless to be United States District Judge for the Central District of Illinois.

At approximately 2:15 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Jonathan James Canada Grey to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Following the Grey vote, the Senate will proceed to Legislative Session and proceed to the immediate consideration of H.J.Res.30, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Department of Labor relating to “Prudence and Loyalty in Selecting Plan Investments and Exercising Shareholder Rights”.
