7:12 p.m. By a vote of 67-32 the Senate invoked cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #100, H.R.3684, the legislative vehicle for the bipartisan infrastructure bill, upon reconsideration.

17 Republican Senators voted AYE: Senators Blunt, Burr, Capito, Cassidy, Collins, Cramer, Crapo, Graham, Grassley, Hoeven, McConnell, Murkowski, Portman, Risch, Romney, Tillis and Young.

6:45 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #100, H.R.3684, the legislative vehicle for the bipartisan infrastructure bill, upon reconsideration.

6:43 p.m. By voice votes, the Senate agreed to the motion to proceed to the motion to reconsider the vote by which cloture failed and the motion to reconsider the vote upon which cloture was not invoked.

6:42 p.m. By a vote of 53-46 the nomination of David M. Prouty to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board was confirmed.

10:35 a.m. RL McConnell spoke about emergency funding for the Capitol Police and National Guard; on election security; and on the threat from Al-Shabaab.

The Senate will convene at 10:30 a.m., following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of the nomination of Gwynne A. Wilcox to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board.

At 11:30 a.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Wilcox nomination.

If cloture is invoked on the Wilcox nomination, there will be up to two hours of debate, and then the Senate will proceed to two roll call votes relative to the following:

Confirmation of the nomination of Gwynne A. Wilcox to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board.

Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of David M. Prouty to be a Member of the National Labor Relations Board.

If cloture is invoked on the Prouty nomination, there will be up to two hours of debate, and then the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Prouty nomination.
