The Senate will convene today 10:00 a.m.. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of the nomination of Tanya J. Bradsher to be Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs, post-cloture.

The Senate will hold two roll call votes at 11:30 a.m.

  1. Confirmation of Tanya J. Bradsher to be Deputy Secretary of Veterans Affairs
  2. Motion to invoke cloture of the nomination of Jeffrey Irvine Cummings to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.

Following the vote on the Cummings nomination, the senate will recess until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
