  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #1147 Anne M. Nardacci to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of New York

    If cloture is invoked, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Valez-Rive and Nardacci nominations at 2:15 p.m.

6:29 p.m. Senator Heinrich spoke about H.R.2930 – Safeguard Tribal Objects of Patrimony Act of 2021. He then asked for the Senate to proceed to immediate consideration of H.R. 2930. There was no objection.

6:23 p.m. Senator Sinema spoke about the Respect for Marriage Act.

The Senate will convene at 12:00 noon and following any Leader remarks, will resume consideration of substitute amendment #6487 to H.R.8404,
Respect for Marriage Act.  

The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

At approximately 3:45 p.m., the Senate will proceed to four roll call votes:
1. Lee amendment #6482 (60-vote threshold)
2. Lankford amendment #6496 (majority vote threshold)
3. Rubio amendment #6493 (majority vote threshold)
4. Passage of H.R.8404, (60-vote threshold)
