The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #806 Sandra Thompson, of Maryland, to be Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency. At approximately 11:00am, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Padin nomination (NJ District Judge), confirmation of the Sweeney nomination (CO District Judge), and cloture on the Thompson nomination (Director of FHFA).

Additional roll call votes are expected throughout Wednesday’s session in relation to the pending nominations. Prior to the end of the week, the Senate may consider S.J.Res.46, providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule
