12:27 p.m. By a vote of 51-45, the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #728, Kevin Warsh to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of fourteen years from February 1, 2026.

  • Democratic Senator Fetterman voted in favor.
  • Senators not voting: Bennet, Capito, Hyde-Smith, and Ricketts.

The Senate will convene today at 10:00 a.m. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Kevin Warsh to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of 14 years from February 1, 2026, post-cloture.

At 11:30 a.m., the Senate will proceed to a series of two roll call votes:

  1. Confirmation of Kevin Warsh to be a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of 14 years from February 1, 2026
  2. Motion to invoke cloture on Kevin Warsh to be Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System for a term of four years

Following the cloture vote on the Warsh nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15 to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
