7:30 p.m. The Senate stands adjourned until Thursday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m.

7:25 p.m. Majority Leader Schumer wrapped up for the evening. The Senate will convene on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. to consider the nomination of Dennis B. Hankins to be Ambassador to the Republic of Haiti.
At approximately 12:00pm, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Hankins nomination.
Following the Hankins vote, the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Nicole G. Berner to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fourth Circuit.
At approximately 1:45pm, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Berner nomination.

6:31 p.m. The Senate began voting on confirmation of the nomination of Sean Maloney to be US Representative to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. The nomination was confirmed by a roll call vote of 63-31.

6:29 p.m. The Senate confirmed the DuBose nomination, 51-47. Republican in favor: Collins and Graham. Democrat against: Manchin.
Not voting: Shaheen and Sullivan.

5:28 p.m. The Senate is now voting on confirmation of of Melissa R. DuBose to be United States District Judge for the District of Rhode Island.

5:24 p.m. Senator Cardin spoke about foreign diplomats.

5:10 p.m. Senators Whitehouse and Reed spoke in support of the nomination of Melissa R. DuBose to be United States District Judge for the District of Rhode Island.

4.42 p.m. Senator Murray asked UC to take up and pass S.2801, Senator Lankford objected.

4:32 p.m. Senators Blumenthal and Durbin joined Senator Murray on urging passage of a bill (S. 2801) helping members of the military and veterans getting access to IVF and other health services.

4:16 p.m. Senator Murray spoke on helping veterans and members of the military getting access to IVF.

4:11 p.m. Majority Leader Schumer spoke on Itay Chen , who was killed on October 7th.

3:09 p.m. By a vote of 53-46, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Sunil R. Harjani to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois. Republican senators voting in favor: Collins, Graham, and Murkowski. Senator Shaheen did not vote.

11:30 a.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on the confirmation of Jasmine Hyejung Yoon to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Virginia.

The Senate will convene at 10:30 a.m. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Jasmine Hyejung Yoon to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Virginia, post-cloture.

At approximately 11:30 a.m. – two votes:

  • Confirmation of the nomination of Jasmine Hyejung Yoon to be United States District Judge for the Western District of Virginia.
  • Motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Sunil R. Harjani to be United States District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois.

Following the Harjani vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus luncheons.
