6:28 p.m. The Senate passed S.Res. 235. Women Veterans Appreciation Day with the Booker amendment by u.c.

6:27 p.m. The Senate passed by u.c. H.J.Res. 60, Requesting the Secretary of the Interior to authorize unique and one-time arrangements for displays on the National Mall and the Washington Monument during the period beginning on July 16, 2019 and ending on July 20, 2019.

6:26 p.m. ML McConnell began wrap up and announced at 3:30 p.m. on June 19th the Senate will vote on confirmation of the 1) Kacsmaryk, 2) Winsor, 3) Cain, and 4) Guidry nominations, and on 5) the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S.1790, National Defense Authorization Act.

3:25 p.m. Cloture was invoked on the Cain nomination, 76-20.

12:50 p.m. Senator Collins spoke about her 7000th consecutive vote.

12:47 p.m. The motion to invoke cloture on the Cairncross nomination was agreed to by a vote of 59 to 37.

10:44 a.m. Senator Menendez achieved UC to take up SJ Res 36, a joint resolution providing for Congressional disapproval of proposed transfer of arms to Saudi Arabia.

The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m.

Following a period of morning business until 11:30 a.m., the Senate will resume consideration of Sean Cairncross to be Chief Executive Officer, Millennium Challenge Corporation.  At 12:00 Noon, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Cairncross nomination.

The Senate will recess from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

Majority Leader McConnell also filed cloture on the motion to proceed to S.1790, National Defense Authorization Act. The cloture vote on the motion to proceed to NDAA will occur upon disposition of the above nominations (expected on Wednesday).
