At 12:00 noon, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Jeffrey T. Kuntz, of Florida, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Florida.

If cloture is invoked, at 2:00 p.m. The Senate will vote on confirmation of the Kuntz nomination.

3:38 p.m. By a vote of 50-46, the Senate did not agree to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to the consideration of S. 4784, the NDAA for fiscal year 2027. Majority Leader Thune voted no in order to make a motion to reconsider.

The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #776, Matthew A. Schwartz, of New York, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit, post-cloture.

At 12:00 p.m. noon, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the Schwartz nomination.

Following the confirmation vote on the Schwartz nomination, the Senate will recess until 2:15 p.m. for the weekly conference meetings.

At 2:40 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to Cal. #436, S.4784, FY2027 NDAA.
