The Senate convened for a pro forma session at 4:00 p.m., Senator Grassley presided. ML McConnell asked u.c. that all uniformed military promotions pending in the Senate will remain in status quo, with the exception of PN765 (Paul Stader), PN540 (Dori Baker), PN475 (David Hayworth). These are in addition to the nominations that were ordered to remain in status quo pursuant to the December 21, 2017 order. To clarify the December 21, 2017 order, PN 1193(Michael Griffin) was returned to the President and PN 1316 (Michael Griffin) remains in status quo.

The Senate adjourned at 4:03 p.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
