At 5:30 p.m., the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Koos nomination.

3:03 p.m. Senator Lankford paid tribute to departing staffer Derek Osborne.

3:00 p.m. Senator Booker began wrap up:

  • S. Res. 527, to commend and congratulate the Harding University Football Team for winning the 2023 National Collegiate Athletic Division II National Championship, was agreed to by unanimous consent.

2:48 p.m. Senator Lankford spoke about the March for Life.

2:41 p.m. Senator Thune received unanimous consent for S. Con. Res. 25, providing for a correction in enrollment of H.R. 2872, to be adopted by voice vote. He then spoke about the March for Life.

2:35 p.m. By a vote of 77-18, H.R. 2872, the legislative vehicle for the Continuing Resolution, as amended, was passed. Senators voting no: Blackburn, Braun, Britt, Budd, Cramer, Crapo, Cruz, Hawley, Hoeven, Johnson, Lee, Marshall, Paul, Risch, Schmitt, Scott (SC), Tuberville and Vance. Senators not voting: Barrasso, Graham, Grassley, Kennedy, and Scott (FL).

1:55 p.m. The Senate is now voting on passage of H.R. 2872, as amended, if amended (60 affirmative votes).

1:51 p.m. Senator Murray spoke on the C.R. She then asked for unanimous consent for the Senate to adopt Murray substitute amendment #1381. There was no objection.

1:48 p.m. By a vote of 13-82, the Senate did not agree to Marshalls motion to commit (full year CR)

1:20 p.m. The Senate began voting on the Marshall motion to commit (full year CR).

1:15 p.m. By a vote of 44-50, the Paul amendment #1384 was not agreed to. Senators Barrasso, Graham, Grassley, Hawley, Kennedy, and Scott (FL) did not vote.

12:29 p.m. The Senate is now voting on the adoption of Paul amendment #1384, re: limiting Palestinian foreign assistance (60 affirmative votes).
