A vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Mercado nomination is expected sometime Tuesday morning as well as a confirmation vote on Mercado at 2:15 p.m. and confirmation on the Miller nomination at 4:00 p.m. (if cloture is invoked on those nominations).
The Senate will recess from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. for weekly policy lunches.

5:30 p.m. Roll call vote began on confirmation of the nomination of John Badalamenti to be a district judge for the middle district of Florida.

He called for an end to violence and destruction of property. He acted under Rule XIV to bring S. 3833, the coronavirus relief bill, directly to the floor.
