9:02 p.m. By a vote of 88-9, the Senate passed H.R.5860, the Continuing Resolution

  • Senators Blackburn, Braun, Cruz, Hagerty, Lee, Marshall, Paul, Schmitt and Vance voted No
  • Senators Stabenow and Scott (SC) did not vote

8:08 p.m. The Senate is now voting on passage of H.R.5860, the Continuing Resolution to Nov. 17th with a 60-vote affirmative threshold needed.

8:07 p.m. Republican Leader McConnell spoke about H.R. 5860

8:06 p.m. Majority Leader Schumer asked by unanimous consent that the Senate will be voting shortly to proceed to a roll call vote on passage of H.R.5860, Continuing Resolution (Nov. 17th). (60-vote affirmative threshold)

2:55 p.m. The Senate stands in recess subject to the call of the chair.

1:00 p.m. The Senate is currently voting on the motion to instruct the SAA to request the presence of absent Senators. The vote was passed by a vote of 49-48.

The Senate will convene at 12:00 noon and following any leader remarks, will resume consideration of H.R. 3935, FAA bill/shell for a continuing resolution. 

Under the rule, we expect a vote on cloture on the Murray substitute amendment at approximately 1:00 p.m.
