6:41 p.m. ML Schumer announced that the Senate will convene at 12pm on Sunday. Time during any recess, adjournment or period of morning business will count post-cloture.

5:42 p.m. The Lee nomination was confirmed on a party line vote of 50-47 with Republicans Blackburn, Graham and Rubio not voting.

5:04 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on confirmation of the nomination of Eunice Lee to be United States Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit.

5:03 p.m. ML Schumer spoke supporting the Lee nomination.

4:44 p.m. Senator Durbin spoke about restaurant revitalization.

4:31 p.m. Senators Cardin and Schumer spoke about restaurant revitalization. Senator Cardin asked unanimous consent to call up and pass S. 2675. Senator Paul objected.

4:30 p.m. Senator Durbin announced at 5:00 p.m. that the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Lee nomination.

11:07 a.m. ML Schumer completed the Rule XIV process on S. 2670, A bill to provide for redistricting reform, and for other purposes and S. 2671, A bill to amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to provide for additional disclosure requirements for corporations, labor organizations, Super PACs and other entities, and for other purposes. ML Schumer spoke about H.R. 3684, Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.

The Senate will convene at 11:00 a.m., following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.3684, a bill to authorize funds for Federal-aid highways, highway safety programs, and transit programs, and for other purposes. (Legislative vehicle for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act)

The filing deadline for 1st degree amendments to the Sinema-Portman amendment in the nature of a substitute (2137) and to the underlying bill, H.R.3684, will be at 11:15 a.m. and 2nd degree amendments is 11:45 a.m. today.

At 12:00 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Sinema-Portman substitute amendment #2137

As a reminder, cloture was invoked on the nomination of Eunice Lee to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the Second Circuit. The vote on confirmation of the Lee nomination will occur at a time to be determined today.

Additional roll call votes are possible during Saturday’s session in relation to amendments to H.R.3684.
