6:34 p.m. Senator Portman spoke about Ukraine and Russia.

6:18 p.m. Senator Duckworth asked for unanimous consent for the Senate to consider Nani A. Coloretti to be Deputy Director of OMB. Senator Lankford objected.

6:18 p.m. By a vote of 66-29, the Senate invoked cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R. 4521, America COMPETES Act.
Senator Sanders voted no.

5:15 p.m. Senator Cantwell spoke on supply chain issues and on going to conference on the COMPETES Act.

4:36 p.m. ML Schumer spoke about SCOTUS hearings and the COMPETES Act.

3:09 p.m. RL McConnell spoke honoring the four Marines killed in Norway and on the SCOTUS hearings.

3:03 p.m. The Senate convened.

The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. and following any Leader remarks will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to H.R.4521, America COMPETES Act.

At 5:30 p.m. the Senate will vote on cloture on the motion to proceed to the bill.

At a time to be determined, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the following nominations:

  • Victoria Calvert to be District Judge for the Northern District of Georgia.
  • Julie Rubin to be District Judge for the District of Maryland.
