6:48 p.m. The Senate has adjourned and will reconvene Tuesday June 14th at 11 a.m. Following leader remarks the Senate will resume consideration of Calendar #338, H.R. 3967, Honoring our PACT Act of 2021. The Senate will recess from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

Roll Call votes during Tuesdays session are expected but not yet scheduled.

6:26 p.m. Senator Portman spoke on Ukraine.

6:23 p.m. Senator Sinema asked for unanimous consent for the Senate to confirm the following nominations en bloc. There was no objection.

  1. Executive Calendar #990- . Joshua D. Hurwit to be US Attorney for the District of Idaho
  2. Executive Calendar #991- Gerard M. Karam to be US Attorney for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
  3. Executive Calendar #992 – Jacqueline C. Romero to be US Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

6:22 p.m. By a vote of 78-17, The Senate invoked cloture on the Tester substitute amendment #5051 to Cal. #388, H.R.3967, Honoring our PACT Act of 2021.
Not Voting- Cruz, Kennedy, Sasse, Warnock, and Wicker

Voting No- Blackburn, Burr, Crapo, Lankford, Lee, Lummis, McConnell, Paul, Portman, Risch, Romney, Scott (SC) Shelby, Sullivan, Tillis, Toomey, and Tuberville.

5:30 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Tester substitute amendment #5051 to Cal. #388, H.R.3967, Honoring our PACT Act of 2021.

5:23 p.m. Senator Tester spoke in support of the PACT Act.

5:19 p.m. Senator Moran spoke in support of the PACT Act

4:33 p.m. Senator Grassley spoke about free speech on colleges and universities and the southern border.

4:11 p.m. Senator Cornyn spoke about the Bipartisan gun legislation and the safety of SCOTUS Justices.

3:43 p.m. Senator Durbin spoke about the Bipartisan Gun Legislation proposal, student debt forgiveness and the PACT act.

3:30 p.m. RL McConnell spoke about inflation and the PACT act.

3:14 p.m. ML Schumer spoke about bipartisan gun reform legislation, PACT act and the supply chain. ML Schumer then filed cloture on the following nominations:
-Executive Calendar #969 Ana Isabel de Alba to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of California.
-Executive Calendar #919 Mary T. Boyle to be a Commissioner of the Consumer Product Safety Commission for a term of seven years from October 27, 2018.

The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m., and following any Leader remarks, will resume consideration of H.R.3967, a bill to improve health care and benefits for veterans exposed to toxic substances.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., the Senate will vote on cloture on the Tester substitute amendment 5051.
