  • Completed Rule XIV process on: S. 4344, A bill to extend section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 for 3 years. The legislation was read for the second time and placed on the Calendar.
  • Adopted by voice vote: S.Res. 681, relating to the life and death of Chuck Norris.

6:31 By a vote of 47-46, the Senate confirmed the nomination of Andrew Davis to be U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Texas.

Senator Collins voted no.

5:33 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on confirmation of Andrew Davis to U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Texas.
