He filed cloture on the nominations : ML McConell filed cloture on the following: Jeffrey Kessler to be Asst Secretary of Commerce Roy Altman to be US District Judge for the Southern District of Florida. The following was passed by UC: SRes 133, honoring Elizabeth Smith Friedman Kritanalis. UC was also achieved that when the Senate adjourns it reconvene on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. and resume consideration of the motion to proceed to S Res 50, and that the Senate recess from 12:30 – 2:15 p.m.

Cloture has also been filed on the motion to proceed to S.Res.50, related to procedures for the consideration of nominations in the Senate.
