The Senate convened at 12:45 p.m., attended a Joint Session in the House of Representatives to count the electoral ballots, and recessed upon dissolution of the Joint Session, at 1:43 p.m.

The Senate will next convene for business on Monday January 9th, at 2:00 p.m.

Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.Con.Res.3, the Budget Resolution.

At 5:30 p.m. on Monday, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote in relation to the Paul amendment #1 to S.Con.Res.3.

On Tuesday, January 10th at 2:30 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote in relation to the Sanders amendment #19 to S.Con.Res.3.
