The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026.
Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of the 74 nominations en bloc as provided for in Executive Calendar #6, S.Res.817, post-cloture.
At 11:30 a.m. the Senate will proceed to Legislative Session for the consideration of H.R.5334, vehicle for Sanctions legislation and will proceed to four roll call votes on the following:
- Adoption of Paul amendment #6715 in relation to Cal. #454, H.R.5334, legislative vehicle for the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia Act of 2026.
- Passage of Cal. #454, H.R.5334, legislative vehicle for the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia Act of 2026, as amended. (60-vote affirmative threshold)
- Confirmation of the en bloc nominations provided for under the provisions of S.Res.817.
- Motion to invoke cloture on Collins substitute amendment #6732 to Cal. #320, H.R.6500, legislative vehicle for a Continuing Resolution.
Additional votes are expected during Friday’s session.
