The Senate convened the second session of the 119th Congress in a pro forma session today at 12:00 p.m. Senator Moran presided and no business was conducted.

The Senate now stands adjourned until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 5th, 2025

On Monday, following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. the Senate will proceed to a confirmation vote of Keith Bass to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense.
