At approximately 11:30 a.m., the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed S.2882, Continuing Appropriations and Extensions and Other Matters Act, 2026. (Democrat CR) If cloture is not invoked, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.5371, Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2026. (House passed CR) If cloture is not invoked, the Senate will vote on the motion to proceed to H.J.Res.106, disapproving the rule submitted by the Bureau of Land Management relating to “Central Yukon Record of Decision and Approved Resource Management Plan”.

Further votes are expected during Thursday’s session.

During wrap-up, Senator Cramer received unanimous consent that, at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader, in consultation with the Democratic Leader, all post-cloture time on the nomination of Jennifer Lee Mascott to be United States Circuit Judge for the Third Circuit be expired and the Senate vote on confirmation no earlier than Thursday, October 9.

Senator Wicker objected to this request.
