The cloture motion will ripen at approximately 11:45 a.m.

12:02 p.m. The Senate is voting on the motion to invoke cloture on John DeLeeuw to be a Member of the National Transportation Safety Board for the remainder of the term expiring December 31, 2026.

The Senate will convene at 10:00 a.m. Following Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #647 John DeLeeuw to be a Member of the National Transportation Safety Board for the remainder of the term expiring December 31, 2026.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the DeLeeuw nomination.

The Senate will recess between 12:45 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

If cloture is invoked, at approximately 2:15 p.m., the Senate will vote on confirmation of the DeLeeuw nomination.

As a reminder, Majority Leader Thune filed cloture during Tuesday’s session on Executive Calendar #651 Ryan McCormack, of Virginia, to be Under Secretary of Transportation for Policy. This cloture motion will ripen during Thursday’s session.
