Following Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of Executive Calendar #64, Joshua David Jacobs, of Washington, to be Under Secretary for Benefits of the Department of Veterans Affairs, post-cloture.
At approximately 12:00 noon, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Jacobs nomination.
Following the confirmation vote, the Senate will recess until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
At approximately 2:15pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to proceed to Calendar #32, S.326, legislative vehicle for Veterans package.
If cloture is invoked on the motion to proceed to S.326, notwithstanding Rule 22, the Committee on Environment and Public Works be discharged from further consideration of S.J.Res.11. It will be in order for Senator Fischer to make a motion to proceed to S.J.Res.11. At approximately 4:00pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to proceed.
