2:31 a.m. The Senate stands adjourned until 11:00 a.m. Thursday July 17th 2025.

At 12 noon the Senate is expected to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Joshua Divine to be a District Judge for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri.

Further roll call votes in relation to nominations are expected during Thursdays session.

2:30 a.m. By a vote of 51-48 the Senate passed H.R. 4, Rescissions Act of 2025, as amended.

  • GOP Senators Collins and Murkowski voted against
  • Senator Smith did not vote.

2:18 a.m. The Senate is now voting on passage of H.R. 4, Rescissions Act of 2025, as amended.

2:16 a.m. The Senate adopted the Schmitt substitute amendment by a vote of 52-46. Not voting: Smith.
