12:47 p.m. Senator Marshall spoke on the one year anniversary of the mid-air collision over the Potomac.

12:19 p.m. By a vote of 45-55, the Senate did not agree to the cloture motion on the motion to proceed to H.R. 7148, (Minibus – DOD, FSGG, LHHS, T-HUD, DHS, and SFOPS funding).

  • Republican Senators voting no: Budd, Johnson, Lee, Paul, Moody, Scott (Fl), Thune, and Tuberville. Majority Leader Thune voted no and entered a motion to reconsider.

11:32 a.m. The Senate began a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R. 7148 (Minibus – DOD, FSGG, LHHS, T-HUD, DHS, and SFOPS funding).

At approximately 11:30 a.m. the Senate will vote on cloture on the motion to proceed.
