6:11 p.m. By a vote of 58-33, the Senate invoked cloture on the nomination of Daniel Zimmerman to be an Assistant Secretary of the Department of Defense.

Democrats/Independents voting in favor: Senators Fetterman, Gallego, Hassan, Kaine, Kelly, King, Reed, Rosen, Slotkin, and Warnock.

Not voting: Senators Banks, Coons, Johnson, Lee, Murkowski, Murphy, Ossoff, Risch, and Shaheen.

5:30 p.m. The Senate began a roll call vote for the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Daniel Zimmerman to be an Assistant Secretary of the Department of Defense.
