The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. We expect the Senate to enter into a unanimous consent agreement to postpone the reading of Washington’s address and the scheduled vote until Tuesday, with the vote scheduled at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Anticipated Tuesday schedule: The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. and ollowing the prayer and pledge, Senator Kaine will be recognized to deliver Washington’s Farewell address. Following the Address, the Senate will be in a period of Mornin Business.

At approximately 5:00 p.m., the Senate will vote on cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.7147, Homeland Security Appropriations for fiscal year 2026.
