The Senate convened for a pro forma session at 3:00 p.m. Senator Ricketts presided. No business is expected. This marks the end of the first session of the 119th Congress.

The Senate will next meet for pro forma session on:

• Saturday, January 3rd at 12:00 noon

When the Senate adjourns on January 3rd, it will next convene at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January 5th.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. the Senate will proceed to a confirmation vote of Keith Bass to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense.
