11:30 a.m. The Senate convened for pro forma session only with Senator Cassidy presiding. No business was conducted.

The Senate will next meet for pro forma sessions on the following dates:

• Tuesday, December 23rd at 8:30 a.m.
• Friday, December 26th at 1:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, December 30th at 11:00 a.m.
• Friday, January 2nd at 3:00 p.m.
• Saturday, January 3rd at 12:00 noon

When the Senate adjourns on January 3rd, it will next convene at 3:00 p.m. on Monday January 5th.

Following Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of Morning Business with senators permitted to speak therein for up to ten minutes each.

At approximately 5:30 p.m., the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of the nomination of Keith Bass to be an Assistant Secretary of Defense.
