5:30 p.m. The Senate is currently voting on the motion to invoke cloture on the nomination of Todd Kim to be an Assistant Attorney General. The motion was agreed toby a vote 54-40.

5:30 p.m. Senator Schumer asked unanimous consent on the following National Labor Relations Board: nomination 257, Gwynne A. Wilcox and 258, David M. Prouty. They were confirmed by voice vote.

5:11 p.m. Senator Blackburn spoke on the Olympics.

4:37 p.m. Senator Tuberville spoke on government spending.

3:52 p.m. Republican Leader McConnell spoke on former senator Mike Enzi and vaccinations.

3:30 p.m. Senator Durbin spoke on the covid vaccine.

3:25 p.m. Majority Leader Schumer spoke on infrastructure.

3:21 p.m. Senator Durbin spoke on the Kim nomination.

The Senate will convene at 3:00 p.m. and resume consideration of the nomination of Todd Kim to be an Assistant Attorney General.

At 5:30 p.m. the Senate will vote on cloture on the Kim nomination.
